Simple Strawberry Daiquiri

One of the best things about summer is the fruit. Keeps you healthy. One of the other best things about summer is that it's cocktail season. Not quite so healthy.

Here is a saucy summery fruity cocktail recipe that is easy to make and very refreshing to sip on a warm summer's day or night.

40-60 ml white rum
3-4 strawberries
20 ml squeezed lime or lemon
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup crushed ice

Mix all ingredients in a blender. Run the blender for 10-20 seconds. Serve in a chilled wine glass or cocktail glass.
Decorate with a strawberry.

If you're like me and don't like rum that much you can substitute with vodka instead. Yum.
