A plate of Lomo cut by my girlfriend accompanied by a cold bottle of San Miguel

Fresh blue cod fillets, dipped in egg and bread crumbs, lightly fried in butter, squeeze of lemon on top, eaten on toast for breakfast in the Marlborough Sounds, NZ

For an avid eater like myself, it is quite hard to narrow down my favourite fatty choices to one (and you can be sure that most of my favourites are in fact fatty). So it might be easier if you were to ask me what I would be most upset about not being able to eat again, and I would have to say probably French Fries (not greasy English chips).... Of all delicious foods out there, French Fries are simple, delicious, and always associated with a social occasion. No one really makes French fries at home (not good ones anyhow, and if they are you don't want to live there since it would probably smell like last call at the Wiener Circle, leaving you sweaty, greasy and dirrrrty like Christina).

So right there, it means that when you're eating a French Fry you're out and about having a good time with friends, family, or even at home because you wanted to wear your fat track suit and watch "Center Stage", "Soul Plane", "Dude, Where's My Car?", or any terrible movie that everyone's been too embarrassed to admit they love, and you've waited 3 months for it to come out on DVD so you could finally watch it in secrecy... (that's not me! you don't know me!). Anyhow, there's nothing like a great crunchy French Fry with the perfect softness inside, with the right amount salt and some good ketchup or mayo... Think about it, you want to go to McDonald's right now and get yourself some, right?
Even after watching "Super Size Me"

Favorite food haiku:
I will take Cheese, please!
Wallace & Grommit know best.
Super Cheese Pizza!
My favourite dish in all of London is a dish of grilled lamb ribs from Numara 19 (Number 19) in Dalston (34 Stoke Newington Rd). It's served with the most delicious bread, fresh salad and a plate of grilled onions in molasses and pomegranate juice!

I love eating soup. It's such a short simple word but represents infinite combinations of flavours. It's hard to make a mistake when you're making soup

I love Roast potatoes. There are many varieties of spuds you can roast but after much tasting I've found the Cyprus potato be king, thankfully readily available in London. Simply drizzle in finest virgin olive oil, season and roast. Do not parboil.

Cheese and crackers, any kind of cheese, and kind of crackers. Usually accompanied with lashings of vino and girly chit chat (which is a big part why I like it so much) and reminds me of relaxing and catching up with friends. If I had to choose one combo, blue cheese (bluer the better) with digestive biscuits, try it!
