My
favourite pastime is...................................................................................................................
BACK
... relaxing with friends, anywhere, anytime, especially over a meal.
Photography: Being given the challenge to capture and compose the glorious
visions we have before us in this world in under a second (in most cases).
People watching in a new country. Just watching other cultures burgle
along easily lends as much knowledge to the watcher as bridges, buildings
and countryside. Of course there is the bonus of checking out the opposite
sex whilst maintaining a moral highground...
It's got to be driving competitively
in motorsport, not only because of the obvious adrenalin rush that comes
from the competitive nature of the sport, the forces exerted upon your
body in cornering or the possibility of glory and triumph, but all of
the drama that goes into preparing the car, team and yourself before
you even get to the race track.
Tennis. It involves concentration, cerebral activity and sweat--all
things that make a healthy body and mind.
Surfing, Body surfing, but that just makes me miss the beach’
I love cooking. I love dreaming of what I’m going to make. Selecting
the ingredients from the store, cupboard or fridge. Improvising. Starting
with the raw ingredients, washing, dicing, slicing, chopping, bashing,
peeling. A fusion of colours, textures, sizes and shapes.
Stirring, steaming, frying, grilling…..waiting for the end result:
The smile on a friends face when they take that first bite or finish
with a full and happy tummy.
Looking for records. I can justify spending hours
picking through stacks of records trying to fine a few diamonds amongst
all the dross out there.
Going out for breakfast because I have lots of time to relax and enjoy
the food I don't get time to eat during the week.
I like spending time with friends, different and new people I've
met as you learn new and exciting things that books or pictures can't
explain.
Also enjoy music, it is a powerful source for inspiration, enjoyment
and the is a style for every emotion, culture and environment... Plus
its a communication tool, political tool...the uses can be endless...
My favorite past time is working in my garden. I love spring when all
the bulbs are blooming w/ splashes of colors. In spring, I love to hear
the birds sing. so I buys lots of bird food so they can come to my yard
: )
Since I live in Chicago I truly enjoy my garden outdoors in Summer and
Fall. We (my husband) and I have breakfast & sometimes dinner outside.
We'll read the newspaper or just sit back and relax or try to catch
the squirrel that loves to dig up my flowers.
